"I got the best of both worlds.
I was raised on the family farm where
I learned what it is to have a close family
and to appreciate nature.
But I also got to live in the city
and learn the comforts of being
a minute's drive from a convenient store.
I feel that my parents gave me a
wonderful upbringing and taught me
to appreciate everything in life.
They gave me two strong legs
to stand on and a set of wings
that allowed me be my own person
and travel the world.
I am a lucky girl who is so blessed."

Growing up in a southern antebellum town molded Whitney into the designer that she is today. She learned to love the design and architecture of the past as well as the artistic freedom of modern design.

During college, she began studying architecture but learned that her passion was interior design. She then studied design, without forgetting her roots in architecture.

Whitney is a second-generation designer that has been around the design field her whole life.  Her mom instilled her design philosophies in Whitney, including the knowledge to design for the client as a reflection of their personality and lifestyle.

Whitney attended Auburn University's Interior Design program, which is ranked as the #4 program in the nation and as the top design program in the South. She graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors Degree in Interior Design in August 2009.  After school she has worked with several prestigious interior designers where she specialized in residential and light commercial work.

Whitney's work has been featured in several national design magazines. Whitney is LEED Green Associate accredited. In Fall 2012, Whitney earned her NCIDQ certificate.

Whitney and her husband live and work in the Greater Atlanta, GA area.

They have two children, Brodie and Emma, and a Maltese, Lola.
